I have a criminal record and as a result am having a very difficult time finding employment. Is this something your company can help me with? Getting rid of my criminal record? I just want to be be able to find some kind of decent employment. Thank you. Answers By Pardons CanadaDecember 6, 2016 2:43 PM Most employers in Canada are conducting criminal background checks so it is important to remove your criminal record so that you will be safe for employment. The type of criminal check an employer does will depend, but a common back check can simply show whether or not you have a criminal record without any details. An RCMP file which requires fingerprints will show the employer exactly all the charges and convictions you may have and when and where they occurred. One pardon or record suspension will remove all the criminal charges and convictions. Once the pardon or record suspension is granted then you will be safe from all criminal checks and it will not be an obstacle for obtaining work. If you are on social services, sometimes your worker may pay for the pardon since its in their best interest to get you working again. Back to Home #pardonscanada #pardonshelp #canadianpardon
