Removing Non Convictions with a File Destruction By JCMJanuary 6, 20170 Back to Home Q - A friend of mine would like to clear their criminal record. She says that she was charged but never convicted and the charges were dropped prior to trial. The issue she is having is that when she gets a criminal reference/background check done the criminal record of the event is still viewable. How would she go about removing this because it is limiting her professional advancement.A – If she was convicted of the criminal offence then she would need a pardon or record suspension. Since she was not convicted but just charged for the crime and then the charges were withdrawn, she needs a file destruction. A file destruction will remove the prints so that in the future when a criminal background check is done, no one will see anything and she will be safe for employment purposes. In order to obtain a file destruction to remove the criminal charge its best to speak live with a counsellor at 1877-929-6011 x3 or email [email protected]. Back to Home
