Getting a FAST card to enter to US By Susan @ PardonsDecember 8, 2016Edited by Admin0 Back to Home A client emailed today saying they have had a permanent US waiver for many years and also a Pardon. They had a FAST card for 5 years and 2 years ago when they went to renew it, the US denied it saying that anyone with a past record cannot get a FAST card. They wanted to know how to deal with this situation. It's very unusual to get a permanent US Waiver as they are no longer issuing them. The longest US Waiver is now for five years, then you will need to renew it. In your case, you are safe to travel to the US with the US Entry Waiver however your FAST card is being denied. Even though you have a pardon or record suspension the authorities can still deny your FAST card because they know about you from the US Waiver. Had you received a pardon before the Americans stopped you at the border, then you would have been safe. Back to Home
