FAST Pass for Truckers with Criminal Records By Pardons Canada FAQNovember 18, 2016Edited by Admin1 Back to Home FAST Pass for Truckers with Criminal Records A friend of mine is a trucker and he has had a FAST card in the past so they were well aware of his record but suddenly a 37 year old minor theft charge turned him back at the US Border although they did allow him to deliver his load and return to Canada. Answers By Pardons CanadaNovember 18, 2016 1:52 PM The Americans are getting more strict at the US border for doing criminal background checks. Even though the criminal record is over 30 years ago and is a petty theft conviction, the Americans still have the right to deny you entry at the US border. If you would have obtained a pardon or record suspension then the Americans would not have seen the criminal record. However, now that they have denied you entry, you will need to obtain a US Entry Waiver, I-192 or I-194. I hope this has helped to answer your question, contact the Pardons Canada team for more information. Back to Home #pardonscanda #uswaiver #entrywaivers #fastcards
