Entering the US After Getting a Pardon By Pardons CanadaSeptember 26, 2016Edited by Admin0 Back to Home Entering the US After Getting a Pardon Question Now that I have my pardon what is my protocol for entering the US? Do I admit I was arrested and had a criminal record when asked? Will I get denied entry to the US? Answer: Now that your pardon or record suspension has been granted you should be safe to travel to the US without worry. If you were stopped by the Americans in the past and then tried to get a pardon it wouldn’t help as you would still require a US Entry Waiver as the Americans do not recognize Canadian pardons. However, since you were never stopped by the Americans, and now that your pardon is granted, they cannot see your criminal record. Do you have a question of your own? Need help?
